THEME PARKS

Guinate Tropical Park

The Guinate Tropical Park is a theme park of 45,000 square meters of lovely gardens, clear lakes, and refreshing waterfalls. The park also serves as an observatory and reproduction center of over 1,300 species of birds and animals. One of the park’s main attractions is the well loved parrot show which showcases the artistic talents of the colorful and talkative birds.

The Guinate Tropical Park offers a souvenir shop, a playground for the children and a restaurant for those of you who wish to replenish. The theme park is located on the northern part of Lanzarote, at the foot of Corona Volcano which is considered to be one of the highest in the island. Rancho Texas Park

Rancho Texas Park is a theme park with a designed derived from the western atmosphere of America. The park offers entertainment for the whole family and the main attractions to consider when visiting the place are:

The Opera:

This is a large enclosure containing different kinds of singing birds. This experience would give you a pleasantly unique auditory sensation, from the natural voices of the birds from within.

The Lilliput Farm:

This attraction is obviously based upon the famous novel by Jonathan Swift entitled Gulliver’s Travels. In the story, Gulliver has set foot in a land where little people live, hence making him into a giant! In Rancho Texas Park, the visitors will obviously notice that size is the main characteristic of the place. In Lilliput farm, the children can interact with the smallest farm animals.

Enclosures:

For a first hand interaction with turtles, raccoons, armadillos, prairie dogs, bisons, skunks and owls, the park offers some enclosures for the visitors to go in and through.

Medicine man’s cave

Indian village and lagoon:

A recreated village patterned from Indian settlements with wigwams and Indian canoes where the children can enjoy an adventure with the likes of the reds.

The Goldmine:

The Goldmine is patterned after the gold rush of America. Visitors can participate in fun filled gold digging activities and perhaps the best thing is that they get to keep their finds!

Country and Western Night (show)

Labeled as the best night out in Lanzarote, this Western themed show is a night of party and entertainment, as people dig into some authentic American cuisine of barbeque, desserts, beer and soda, and some Spanish sangria. Activities and entertainment are provided by the entertainers from the place and live band and line dancing would be some of the night’s main highlights.
